Carrie Ann Costantino

Carrie Ann Costantino was born and raised in Studio City, CA.  After graduating from Columbia University with a double major in English & Film and a minor in Dance, Carrie returned to Los Angeles where she currently directs the Dance program at Harvard-Westlake Middle School, a private secondary school in Los Angeles.  A Lester Horton Award winner, Carrie choreographed two musicals for the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, and she attended the American Dance Festival where she performed with New York based, Keigwin + Company.  A former member of the board of the Dance Resource Center, Carrie wrote and edited the Dancezine during her three year term.  Carrie briefly oversaw the Education Company for Diavolo Dance Theater, and has taken many workshops with Diavolo to deepen her understanding of their unique approach to modern dance.   Carrie recently completed her yoga certification at Yogaworks, and she has just completed her first of three summers at Cal State Long Beach’s Masters of Arts program in Dance.   Carrie has trained in many dance techniques from Ballet to Jazz, Hip-Hop to Modern, Lyrical to Tap, Musical Theater, Gymnastics and Aerial, and she is delighted to be joining Benita Bike’s DanceArt Company for her first season.
