Emily Wheeler

Emily Wheeler hails from Livermore, California. She graduated with honors with a BFA in Dance, and a minor in Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. At UCSB, she received the 2002 Corwin award for first place in Choreography. Emily danced with the UCSB Dance Company, and was a member of New Urban Dance Company in Walnut Creek, California. Emily has studied with Christopher Pilafian, Valerie Houston, Nancy Colahan, Jerry Pearson, Tonia Shimin, Stephanie Nugent, Daniel Charon, Terry and Oliver Steele, and others. This is Emily's second season with Benita Bike's DanceArt.
