Emma
Julaud was born and raised in Redon, France. She started dancing ballet
at a young age, but it was not until she was introduced to modern dance
technique through choreographer/ dancer Wayne Barbaste that Emma found
her true voice. At the age of 20, she worked as the artistic director
and choreographer for a local theater company in Brittany. Soon after
she was performing and touring the country with “Escapade Dance
Company” from Rennes, and “Collectif Zarzuela Dance Company”
from Paris. After moving to Paris, Emma trained with choreographers
Alain Gruttadauria, Pascal Couillaud, Serge Ricci, Lola Keraly and Bruno
Collinet. She was also in demand on prime-time French TV, dance revues,
music videos, modeling sessions and fashion photography. In January
of 2004, Emma moved to Los Angeles to further her career.
