Kim Newstadt

Kim Newstadt is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California’s Master in Public Art Studies Program. Pursuing a career in arts education policy and advocacy, she has most recently worked as the Art Gallery Director for the USC Hillel Art Gallery. Dance has always been an integral part of her life. Her grandmother and aunt, both dance teachers, introduced her to movement at an early age. Upon moving to Louisville, KY, she trained with Dora Manela, former Louisville Ballet Master and Nancy Fountain, current Theatre Midwest Director. For eight years she studied under the mentorship of Chuck Bronson and Cyndi Bronner with the University of Louisville Dance Theatre. Currently, in addition to dancing with Benita Bike’s DanceArt Company, Kim teaches Israeli dance.
