Laurie Muniz

DanceArt’s newest company member is Laurie Muniz, who hails from San Diego. She has performed with Patricia Rincon Dance Collective, a contemporary dance company based in San Diego, where she had the opportunity to work with dance artists Joe Goode and Kim Impfiano. She has trained in ballet, modern, and jazz with many great instructors such as Kathryn Irey, Jean Issacs, Peter Kalivas, Kathy Meyer and Kevin Patterson. Laurie was also part of three national tours as a dancer, dance captain and actress in Selena Forever, Veteranos, and Zoot Suit. Currently Laurie is a member, dance captain, and co-choreographer with The East La Classic Theatre Company directed by Tony Plana.
