Michelle McGraw

Michelle McGraw, a native Virginian, trained from an early age in ballet, jazz, and tap. In 1999, she entered Radford University where she worked with such instructors and choreographers as Margaret Devaney, Dagmar Kessler, Frano Jelincic, Doris Ressel, Pegeen Albig, Danah Bella, and guest artist Gemze de Lappe who set Isadora Duncan’s dance The Furies. Michelle also represented Radford University at the American College Dance Festival for two years. She was an Arts Society Scholarship recipient at Radford University for three years. In 2002, Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in dance. Her passion is for teaching and performing. Before moving to the L.A. area, Michelle owned and operated a dance studio with nearly 150 students in her native Virginia. She is currently teaching for the Regina Klenjoski Dance Company Program in Torrance and for the Newport Dance Academy. This is Michelle's second season dancing with Benita Bike's DanceArt.
